P-YTR – Young Talents Race

There will be a new competition at the 13th Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail in 2025 – the YOUNG TALENTS RACE. The aim is to give young trail talents the opportunity to measure themselves against competitors of the same age. Young people aged 14 to 22 can take part in this competition. The P-YTR starts with a loop in Mandarfen and then runs along the Hirschtalsteig towards the Sunnaalm. A special highlight is the view of the Rifflsee. The route leads past the valley station of the Grubenkopf cable car and continues along the trail to the Taschachalm. The route then follows the track from the Taschachalm to the finish. The runners cover a distance of approx. 8km and 650 metres in altitude.

  • The actual kilometre and altitude data vary between +/- 5% depending on the measuring method.
