Tiefentalalm
Tiefental Alm is idyllically set in a larch and pine forest and is nestled in a magnificent mountain panorama. The Gschwandbach stream running past the mountain hut contributes to the glorious ambiance, creating a very tranquil atmosphere.
In the summer, hikers, mountaineers, mountain bikers and families with children appreciate the traditional Tyrolean delicacies and home-made products of the alpine hut (such as in-house juices, bread, Schiblig sausages, eggs, cakes and schnapps…) If you are hiking up there, the hut’s landlord Franz quite often entertains his guests with his accordion.
Tip: the homemade Kaiserschmarrn (sugared pancake with raisins; allow a preparation time of up to 30 minutes) is superb and widely renowned.
