P45-Rifflsee Trail – Mountain Marathon with stunning views
The P45 – Rifflsee Trail Marathon starts with a climb up to the Rifflsee. After a short refreshment stop at the Sunna Alm, runners are immersed in the wild mountain world of the Pitztal valley. They pass the highest mountain lake in Austria and reach the Taschachhaus via the Ploder See and Fuldaer Höhenweg. Accompanied by an incredible glacier panorama, you return to Mandarfen. The ascent to the Rifflsee is tackled again. This is completely circumnavigated before returning to Mandarfen via the Zirbensteig trail to the finish. In total, the runners cover approx. 43 km with approx. 2,100 metres in altitude. The P45-Rifflsee is aimed at trained marathon runners and mountain runners who want to take on new challenges.
